Kindergarten:
For puppies 3 - 5 months old. This class is
the introduction of positive training
techniques. They will learn proper greetings
(with all four on the floor) to correct heel
position for walking on a loose leash, come, sit,
down and stay. Dogs will learn to look at
owner (focus) with distractions and how to
incorporate toys and play into their
training. We will also cover common problems
such as jumping on people; barking, chewing, create
training, and house-training. In addition, we
will also discuss canine nutrition and canine
social etiquette.
Basic Obedience – This class is for the dog owner that would like to have a very well behaved dog in the house. This is open to all dogs 6 months and older. We will teach the basic skills along with solving behavior problems.
Basic Skills:
Intermediate Obedience – We will work with building and refining basic skills with increased distance, distractions, and duration while working off leash (if ready). We will also work on heal, front and close.
Clicker Class – This class is for people who would like to learn about operant conditioning. We teach how to properly use the clicker in training and we will work on teaching the dogs different tricks as seen in the movies and commercials.
